Gymboree Time!

Here are a few pictures and videos of our Gymboree class we had today!  Daddy was able to make it and Jake enjoyed having us both there.  He did a great job jumping and running around and even went back for more kisses from Jimbo the clown!

Jan. & Feb. in Review

Time is just flying right by us these days!  We've been keeping very busy through these winter months.  Jake is still going to library class every Monday morning and we recently signed him up for Gymboree classes.  He is having tons of fun at these classes and is learning how to socialize, too.  His favorite part of class is the parachute and bubble time.  He tries popping the bubbles in the air and sometimes on a kid's head!  It's great for him (and ME) to get out of the house when it's so gloomy outside.  I plan on taking some pictures this week so I can post them.

When we are indoors, we try to keep busy....even Addy is getting antsy!  Jake and Addy keep each other company and she is learning to tolerate him bouncing on her and stealing her toys.

Jake has started feeding himself with a spoon.  Most of it ends up on the floor, but he is getting his coordination down little by little.  If he's super hungry, he gives up altogether and just has Mommy or Daddy feed him.  He has been a picky eater some days, but most of the time he is demolishing his food.  His favorites right now include perogies, yogurt, green beans, lima beans, string cheese, cherry tomatoes, and oranges.  As long as I have those on hand, we're usually good to go.

During the month of Feb. we had lots of visitors and we also took some trips, too!  Grammy & Papa came up to visit at the beginning of the month and had a sleepover with Jake, while me and Ben went out for some adult time.  Jake had a great time with them and showed them his new favorite show, "Little Einsteins."  Aunt Kath came from the east coast later in the month and was so excited to finally see Jake.  She hadn't seen him since he was about 6 months, so to see him walking was fun.  Jake snuggled right up to her by the end of the weekend.  We then took a family trip down to Indianapolis for a long weekend while Daddy went to some chiropractic seminars.  Jake is still obsessed with stacking barrels and loves playing with his car.  He enjoyed playing with Grammy and Papa and even got to see Aunt Em & Uncle Jim!

Here are a few pictures and videos of the past months!
