Ohio/Indy Trip May-June 2011

Our Ohio trip was a blast and we got to spend it with lots of family!  Daddy only stayed for the weekend, but me and Jake stayed for an extra week afterwards.  Jake LOVED all the delicious food.  Jake found Uncle Mike the most entertaining and already copies EVERYTHING he does!  We flew back to Chicago and Jake did amazing!  He fell asleep the entire time.

Lots of fun events happened while in Indiana for two weeks.  The most exciting is that we bought a HOUSE!  We love it and can't wait to move in come August.  Jake did lots over the two weeks including a spray park, nature center, and even a visit to Terre Haute to see Great-Grandpa Butwin.

Easter 2011

We had a great Easter in Indy with Grammy & Papa!  Jake enjoyed hunting for eggs in the basement and playing with Easter grass from his baskets.  He didn't like dying eggs this year, so we're hoping next year will be a bit more fun when it comes to egg dying.

Here are some pictures and videos from the weekend!

Dupage Children's Museum

We had tons of fun at the Dupage Children's Museum in Naperville today.  Jake ran non-stop from one exhibit to the next.  We spent a good two hours doing as much as we could.  No surprise when Jake gravitated towards activities that included stacking, sorting, organizing and, of course, BALLS!  He also enjoyed the drum room!

Enjoy the pics and videos!

March Madness

March was a fun and crazy month for us!  We had lots of family in town and celebrated my 28th birthday.  Ben and Jake watched lots of basketball and Jake really has mastered throwing and saying "ball."  Jake is imitating much more now and can even tell us what a snake says.  Still working on what a dog, cat, and cow says, which we've been working on quite a lot.  Snake took him all of 2 minutes to pick up!
He is very interested in doing what I'm doing such as vacuuming, dusting, and folding clothes.

I just wanted to post some videos and favorite pics from the past month.
